From the acclaimed creator of Netflix’s The Crown comes the West End’s most hotly‑anticipated and scorchingly-relevant critical hit play in years – Patriots. “If the politicians cannot save Russia, then we businessmen must. We have not just the responsibility but the duty to become Russian heroes”

It is 1991. The Fall of the Soviet Union.

With the dawning of a new Russia, there are winners and losers, and today’s patriot can fast become tomorrow’s traitor. As a new generation of oligarchs fights to seize control, Patriots follows billionaire businessman Boris Berezovsky from the president’s inner circle to public enemy number one.

Gripping play. Brilliant performances, particularly Tom Hollander.

Ross Henry Clephan

Simply perfect Tom Hollander says as much with his face as he does with his words.

Dr N Westcombe

The play is excellent: the script is brilliant, the acting is superb! Translation of Vysotsky’s songs is exceptionally good!

Susan Austin

Brilliant. An incredible true story. The 3 main protagonists were simply outstanding with special praise to Tom Hollander who held the stage from start to finish. These 3 truly unpleasant people held the audience spellbound as they battled for position. Only one remains in power …….

Excellent play, interesting plot, great acting by Tom Hollander. Sometimes the vocals were lost and we were sitting in the stalls close to the stage! Overall very enjoyable and thought provoking.

Wonderful play

Brilliant acting

E C Gilbert

Tom Hollander's acting was superb. A rather heavy topic, made the more fascinating and engaging by the excellent acting.

Play was excellent; acting was brilliant, and I heard every word. Extremely uncomfortable, cramped seating though, and I'm only 5' 6". If you are tall, stand at the back or buy a front seat in the stalls.
