New Old Friends and James Seabright present The Falcon’s Malteser by Anthony Horowitz

Don’t miss this acclaimed stage version of Anthony Horowitz’s hilarious novel introducing the Diamond Brothers Detective Agency. Tim is the world’s worst private investigator, so can the help of his clever younger brother Nick be enough to crack their toughest case yet?

A solitary box of Maltesers is delivered by a miniature Mexican, but what’s so special about these chocolates that half of London's criminal underworld are willing to kill for them? New Old Friends’ acclaimed adaptation features four actors playing dozens of characters, comedy songs, and a fully realised car chase on stage!

Fun but pretty stupid

CAST AND SET WERE VERY GOOD, BUT NEEDED MORE COMEDY MORE VISUAL JOKES AND MORE GAGS, SEEMED A LONG 80 MINS

customer

For the price of these tickets the show felt workshopped. Accurate direction on slapstick and timing was missing and so many adult laughs were lost. The show lacked substance and atmosphere.

Excellent performance!

Caroline Hebbert

slick and witty production, with laugh out loud humour, great pace and tour de force acting from the small cast. Only quibble was the high price of the tickets, especially no discount for children given it was a children's show and given the fun but not exactly lavish venue.

Enthusiastic actors - venue / staff unfortunate

customer

Excellent play, and good ambience, although my seat was broken. Slight issue re location as London Theatre Direct gave the wrong address, but we got there just in time.

My family loved this show, ages 11 to 51! The portrayal of the story was done very well, we all laughed out loud at the brilliant acting.

Adam T

The show was very funny with an impressive talented cast and clever directing which captures the feel of the book perfectly.
